Namun, we explained that this equipment is designed for wet granulation of organic fertilizers, which involves moisture and agglomeration methods unsuitable for alumina powder. Instead, we proposed the 1 T double roller granulator, which employs dry granulation technique. This method can produce alumina pellets without adding water or with a minimal addition of 4-8% water to enhance pellet cohesion.

High Temperature Resistant Design to Enhance Service Life of Alumina Granulator

Nevertheless, the alumina powder’s feed temperature is 80°C, which is relatively high. To improve the dry granulation machine’s service life, we customized baja tahan karat roller sheets to enhance durability.
The customer expected the product size of 2-10mm. We requested more precise specifications to customize the extrusion granulator’s ball socket diameter accurately. Ultimately, we provided two sets of stainless steel molds: one with 3-4mm ball sockets and an additional set with larger 8-10mm ball sockets to meet their product size range.

Auxiliary Equipment & Dust Control Measures

This Australian customer said the feed particle size of alumina powder ranging from 0.05mm to 5mm, which aligns perfectly with the roller press granulator’s feeding requirement, eliminating the need for additional grinding machinery. Additionally, we recommended several auxiliary machines to ensure smooth and efficient alumina fertilizer pellet production. The SXFM-2030 loader type feeder and the SXPJ-1600 disc feeder were selected to ensure even feeding of the alumina powder into the granulator. Kemudian, we suggested buying SXGS-1020 granule screening machine to sort the finished product and return any oversized alumina granules for re-processing. Furthermore, a SXLTF-500 chain crusher adequately crushes oversized alumina particles to below 3mm for re-granulation. To meet the customer’s dust control requirements, we installed dust covers on the screening machine and all conveyor belts.
